Trim and twist each stem
Taking care to remove leaves
Don’t spoil the bouquet

Katherine Shirley is a native Londoner and constant scribbler on buses and trains. She blogs at Katherine Shirley. This is the first time Katherine has been published here at Pure Haiku.
I liked the different slant on care in this haiku; the negative admonishments to produce a thing of beauty.
This haiku is part of my CARE series.
