white headed wave grows
topples under its own weight

Sarah Connor works with young people with mental health needs, and she write poems because it’s better than meditating! Despite her name, she hasn’t yet met any homicidal androids from the future. This is her first appearance at Pure Haiku.

Having watched the sea in action and doing just this, I had to include this haiku because it accurately pin-points that moment of crashing on the shore …
This haiku is part of my OCEAN series.
