    Oh, this is so true of a host of my 80+yr.old friends. If only the current straws would emerge! It’s only the long-term ones that seem graspable!

      We new a gal whose Mom… lost so much that she forgot she had married and had a daughter… The older woman thought she was in her early 20’s. And didn’t realize that the weekly visits from the nice lady were from her own daughter.

      I’m not sure when or if those current straws will ever become graspable. It is even harder when the ones you love aren’t living in the same locale.

        Sorry I fat fingered New… was supposed to be knew.
        Spell check only works if the word is actually spelled wrong… unless you pay for grammar check…

        I suppose we all lose a few marbles as the years pass…
