The volcano sleeps once more, maybe a little uneasily at times, but for now, her eruption of rage is over and we can all breathe a sigh of relief!
Thank you once again to everyone who submitted their haiku in June for this theme. Even if you didn’t have your work accepted for the Volcano theme, I hope you will send in your work again when Pure Haiku opens to submissions in February 2023!
Thank you also to artist Elisa Ang for creating such a beautiful and yet devastating painting of a volcano in all her moods, as well as choosing one of the shortlisted poets for one of the two Featured Haiku Writer slots!
Don’t forget that my third poetry collection, This Is Me, is available to download from Amazon, iBooks, Kobo, Nook and many other online stores! Check out the book trailer HERE and listen to my playlist HERE.
Duotrope offered me the chance for an interview a few months ago which I took, and you can check it out HERE!
One of my artistic collaborators, Jonathon B. Hoyt, now has his own blog! Please take a look and follow and like his posts!
And now, it’s time for me to take a rest from both Pure Haiku and Dragonscale Clippings until January 2023. Wishing you all a peaceful and restful Christmas Holiday… See you in the New Year!
Wonderful haikus! As always, I enjoyed the challenge and was inspired by so many of the poems. Thank you!
Thank you for your continued support!
Happy New Year Freya! (K)
And to you, Kerfe!
