Stop Press!

15 April, 2024

Have you had your haiku published here at Pure Haiku?

Do you have a poetry book / chapbook / collection authored entirely by yourself that has already been published or is due to be published between 1st December 2023 and 1st December 2024?

Is your poetry book / chapbook / collection available as an e-book in both the US and the UK and other countries?

Would you like me to mention your poetry book on this site?

If your answers are YES to ALL of the above questions, contact me immediately at purehaiku@gmail.com

In your email, please state:-

  • your full name and when you were last published here at Pure Haiku
  • your blog OR social media address (one only)
  • the title of your poetry book you wish me to mention here
  • one purchase link (full address please, no abbreviations or bitlys – my computer doesn’t like them)
  • the date of publication

I will reply to your email within a couple of weeks, depending on my deadlines and writing schedule. Please note that I usually finalise scheduled posts the month before they’re due to appear. If you wish to be mentioned in a specific month for your STOP PRESS announcement, please be sure to email me with the relevant information (see above) BEFORE the 25th of the preceding month. (Eg if you want to be mentioned in my May post, please tell me about your poetry book before 25th April).

I will schedule Stop Press posts to appear mid-month between May and September, and also in November, as and when I have enough interest.

Please don’t: –

  • Send me any attachments (your email will automatically go into my Junk folder)
  • Send me your poetry MS asking me to critique/review it (I haven’t got time and I only review poetry books I’ve purchased myself)
  • Send me any extra information (I haven’t got time to read it)
  • Send me information about someone else’s book
  • Send me information about anthologies you’ve been published in

This offer of promotion is free of charge and I can’t promise any extra sales from it. Being a self-published author myself, I know how hard it is to get the word out there to the right people. This is my way of saying thank you to those of you who contribute to this site.

Looking forward to hearing from you if you meet the requirements at the top of the page!
